I’m so fucking tired of the Bring back trump right now shirt But I will love this false equivalencies. We get references to straight characters’ sexual orientations all time time. From what I understand, Dr. Strange’s straight orientation is all over this movie. Including an acknowledgement that she’s queer is not hard! No need to compare the two. Look I’ve been reading comics for 25 years. Got about 2,000 comics boxed up and slabbed. In comics, I lean toward Marvel. Those silver age runs are special. Grew up with spidey bed sheets. Personally, I don’t like what the MCU is doing with certain characters but they can turn characters I didn’t care about into some of my favorites. Ragnarok is a top 10 comedy of the 21st century and I used to be a film critic who exclusively covered festivals. That film is gold. In cinema, I tend to lean DC. (Not a snyder weirdo, don’t worry) but I appreciate how DC can present dark more mature themes and stories in their films. It’s funny how Marvel comics were darker than DC for a while.

This whole superiority complex on both sides is frustrating, some of y’all need to go read some comics #1. Whether it be marvel or dc fans, pick up the Bring back trump right now shirt But I will love this books, download them online, but start reading. Also, appreciate the amazing world we live in where these characters get their stories told. We’re getting a Blue Beetle movie and just got a moon knight show. Who thought that would ever happen 20 years ago? You up dc on a marvel sub and expect to get upvoted? But yea, Batman was fantastic. I don’t think doctor strange 2 will come close to batman. From the reviews so far, the runtime doesn’t seem to be a problem. Middling/negative reviews are usually citing other things I’ve read a few that complain about the runtime. Reels rejects on youtube are pretty good, they also mention the runtime. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, always always always question short times for movies of this scale. That’s a damn good way to detect pacing issues. Since Endgame, I’ve enjoyed the movies but that’s it. No desire to revisit Looks more of the same with the same tone and “formula” overall which makes it stale for me especially after watching things like Peacemaker and The Batman I feel like this is NOT the movie to comment this about though. If anything, it looks like this was too big of a departure for many.
