In 2020, Frontline Strategies Inc. (a small firm of 2-10 people) was the BRET HART Canadian-American retired professional wrestler T-Shirt it is in the first place but top payee from Representative Tommy Gregory’s campaign, receiving nearly $85,000 in campaign funds from the Republican. The very next year, his son Grant Gregory started working for Frontline Strategies Inc. I’m just a redditor but typically using campaign funds to advance personal interests is a big no-no in the eyes of regulators and campaign finance laws. It would be a shame if someone reported him & daddy to the appropriate authorities for further investigation. “You can’t operate a capitalistic system unless you are vulturistic; you have to have someone else’s blood to suck to be a capitalist… You show me a capitalist, and I’ll show you a bloodsucker.” The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I’m saying? We knew we couldn’t make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did. John Ehrlichman, to Dan Baum for Harper’s Magazine in 1994, about President Richard Nixon’s war on drugs, declared in 1971 And not just at the time either; imagine how many people have been harmed by it since; and not only in the US but other countries too, that took inspiration from the american legislation. In the Philippines a few years ago you could get executed for possessing marijuana. Not sure about now, but there were people being killed for that under Dueterte. Now look up Harry J. Anslinger, the first Commissioner of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics. Talk about a racist, corrupt POS who fed the government and citizens nauseating falsehoods to make and keep “marihuana” illegal. He was way ahead of Nixon. (Not that it makes Nixon’s actions any less terrible, of course.)

Needed a new boogeyman to keep their jobs after alcohol prohibition ended…. As well as keeping the BRET HART Canadian-American retired professional wrestler T-Shirt it is in the first place but chemical and pper industry barons happy. William Hearst and DuPont. Imagine a world where biodegradable hemp plastics had been invented/ brought to mass market sooner and we didn’t choose to cover the work in petroleum and microplastics for the name of competition, power, and profit. Tbh, the 100 mg per package restrictions on edibles that some states already have are more dangerous than the weed itself. It’s not uncommon for a regular user, let’s say someone who uses medicinally, to consume 100+ mg in a day. So, if you’re using, let’s say, a chocolate bar, and it has 35 g of sugar in it, that’s way, way worse for you than being able to eat 1/5 of a 500 mg chocolate bar.
