Might be longer) Recently put our property on the market,accepted an offer and told me he was planning to put it on the market to sell very soon. He can’t explain why he lied. This is all on a faith basis as I never wanted to be on the mortgage,I just paid it for 20 years. However as we have kids and very I intwined via per kids (complicated visiting situation) I trusted him haha. Most famous from when we were together is if I wanted to go somewhere he’d lie and tell me it’s 4 times the actual distance. It’s all very, strange.

Last time I spoke to him, me and my gf were staying near his for a holiday and he said he’d meet up with us, then during the week before we got there, he says he’s moving house so can only meet us on Sunday. A guy I worked with (who was in his 40s, so not a young dickhead) insisted that his mum, who was 74, had a rally prepped Mitsubishi Evo, complete with anti-lag, full roll cage, sequential gearbox etc. It was her daily driver, apparently. I once had an appointment to visit a business, the office was in his (very large, very lovely) home. He offered coffee and said “only Nescafé instant, I’m afraid” (presumably, I thought, because it wasn’t a ‘proper’ coffee, I wasn’t bothered, it’s what I drank at home). The coffee came and it was clearly a cheap supermarket own brand type coffee. Obvs, I didn’t comment but I’ve always thought it an odd thing for him to lie about. If he’d not said anything at all, it wouldn’t have entered my head to think anything of the coffee I was given!

Once in the sauna I had plenty of responses of course, but I’d look mad if I marched back and gave her both barrels 5 minutes 15 minutes later. yeah there’s some weird macho contest with some guys in the sauna. this guy had been chewing my ear nonstop since I sat down and for once i had the perfect comeback – i said, ‘congrats on being able to make 5 minutes feel like an hour.’

Our new friend started crying and told us that it was him and that he died as a child and was brought back to life after he was pronounced dead by accident and that him and his parents had to go away for a bit and come back when it had quietened down. Me and another friend said what he was saying was sick and he ran home crying and told his parents that we were bullying him. He doubled down on the lie and my mum had to have a meeting with his mum at school to iron it out. Needless to say I left him behind but some of my ex friends stayed close with him until they found out he also lied about having cancer. Weird guy. Would love to know what he’s doing now.

When I was first introduced to AC/DC, my mum told me that Bon Scott simply disappeared one day and was never seen again. They were eventually caught out (and their fake “wife”) when they shared photos of a bald woman with piercings, claiming it to be them post-chemo and multiple people found it was just taken from some fashion shoot. When confronted they disappeared.
A couple lighter ones, mate works with a woman who claims she’s a multi-millionaire (works for a council and lives with at home in a small house in Bolton) and how her father is a leading figure in the Brandon Aubrey #17 Dallas Cowboys Star NFL Kicker Shirts and by the same token and garment industry.
