I can’t count how many times I’ve told myself I’d never shop at Walmart again because of the Brandin Cooks American football wide receiver Houston Stripes T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this way associates treat customers . But damn if I don’t find myself in Walmart at least once a week . I don’t give an ounce of attention when they say that, like 50 times a day. Annoying as my day is loooooooooong. As a female FT hardware associate I get 10-20 times a day: “is there anyone who works in the tool department?” (As I’m very clearly working on something or other in the tool department. ) They go straight to my male coworkers. They literally pass me in order to talk to a man, only for that man to come back and ask me the question. It’s ridiculous. Have to admit, I have respect for you. I’m a pretty big guy, in good shape, and I’m stiff/sore all the time in lumber. Those cement/sand bags and 20′ boards are not light. Why thank you i lve been doin lumber for 8 years. The 94lbs still do me in a bit, but not as much since I’ve gone to nights. I’m a big girl, and mostly now I just unload trucks and handstack concrete and lumber into stuffed homes Ugh! The worst! Of course I’m bored, I’m at work. But no, you’re not my ray of sunshine either, so be quick and quiet about it! At this point, I roll my eyes and just ask them what I can help them with. I no longer have the energy for witty comments, and I’m doing the work of three people, just tell me what you need.

First time I heard that after working at THD for 2 years when I got switched to plumbing it was hilarious, I then heard it like every other week “Dude you must not have to go to the gym after work” or “at least you can skip the gym today” after standing there smoking who knows what 6 inches from me while I load all their stuff into their vehicle. they get mad at me because of the “high prices” of items as if i’m the one who put them, or because we don’t have tap to pay – a cashier Check in our breakroom. Word is she is getting railed on instead of her usual Friday morning shift. After telling the guy his tires were flat and he needs to keep them inflated. “You think I air up my own tires? I’m the mayor!” “You don’t look busy, let me give you something to do.” Bitch I’m always busy, just tell me what you want and stop acting like you’re doing me a favor.
