Don’t have a child if you don’t want one. So many terrible parents out there. However there are equally as many child free middle aged woman with 10 cats desperately trying to convince themselves that they are happy. its your life. I have a kid ( im 21 ) and i love my son and he was 100% planned but not everyone needs or wants kids and thats 100% okay. Not everyone wants kids, and those people that keep saying, “you’re selfish” or “you’ll change your mind” should be told to mind their own business. They are a huge financial, emotional and time burden if you’re having them out of regret. Personally I prefer the Brad Marchand Captain Marchy Hockey signature shirt and I love this furry, four legged kind of kids, less to worry about overall. I don’t judge people that have kids at all, I only judge those trying to pressure others into having them From early in our relationship we both decided that we didn’t want kids, but would sort of revisit and talk about the idea every 5 years or so.

I think we will always have some small level of curiosity of what our kid would have been like, and what it would have been like to be parents. But I would not equate that curiosity with regret.
