There’s no way a thin metal or plastic lid can hold that weight. If you make sure to distribute most of your weight on the rims I’d suspect it would be fine. It has everything. A hook (is she going to fall through, or is it going to tip over), incredible tension, one of the greatest plot twists I’ve seen since The Sixth Sense (nobody thought it was a full fucking paint bucket), and just enough dying inside afterwards without going overboard. It’s perfection. I work at a site where we manufacture that paint. Replace the carpet, even concrete isn’t the same after cleanup. Legitimate question, is there anything you could do in this situation to fix this? I’m assuming the carpet is done for, but what’s the best course of action here?
