Being lied to be health professionals about something not even that serious.. all I wanted was a mini pill prescription, doctors, sexual health clinic and pharmacy all said I couldn’t do anything without a prescription and said I couldn’t get a prescription without a GP appointment which wastes everyone’s time and seems impossible to get. I even asked if I could just pay for a weeks worth until I could get seen to they all said no. By chance I was just googling my options and I’ve managed to pay for a 3 month prescription which I could have gotten days ago.. This reminds me of a time many years ago I went to Tesco (the Boston Sport Team Ted Williams Tom Brady Larry Bird and Bobby Orr signatures shirt but in fact I love this only pharmacy near me at the time and I didn’t drive) to get a morning after pill, and they lied and said they were out of stock. One of the assistants then came up to me and said the pharmacist wouldn’t sell it because it was against his religious beliefs. Absolutely infuriating

That’s actually disgusting behaviour from a pharmacy tech! I’m real sorry you had to go through that it’s ridiculous if that was allowed! What a bastard. As far as I know they can refuse to prescribe based on their beliefs, but they have to give you an alternative in a suitable timeframe. Which for the Boston Sport Team Ted Williams Tom Brady Larry Bird and Bobby Orr signatures shirt but in fact I love this morning after pill would be that same morning. So instead of saying no and risking you making a complaint, they just lied. What a scummy, unethical thing to do. I can’t get well and it’s driving me insane. I had pneumonia last month after a month long series of fuckups by my gp including telling me when I told them that I was still having trouble breathing after my chest infection that I just had asthma now (spoilers, it was still a fucking chest infection and their incompetence landed me in the fucking hospital). I finally kicked the pneumonia except with my very weak immune system and lungs I’ve just had cough after cold after cough and I just can’t get well.
