Maybe it is because I don’t really have friends or family. But it seems ridicilous to blow insane amount of money on one day. Same goes with wedding rings. When me and my boyfriend get married, we just do the official part and do something nice together that we both enjoy. Maybe we go to have dinner with my boyfriend’s family but that’s it I think the wedding ring is supposed to be so that other people know that you and your spouse are not single, but it doesn’t always work that way so whatever.
