I actually don’t find it as ammusing when I discover something about a completely different culture, but when I hear something wild about a country with similar culture (lime the Boston Celtics Boston Bruins New England Patriots Boston Red Sox signatures shirt and I will buy this other European countries and like USA… Actually especially USA) but while it’s a similar culture some differences astonish me. I know it would have been nice to give an example, but for the life of me right now I’m completely blanking. In Afghanistan, you know, where they throw people from rooftops for being gay. They have a thing called “Man love Thursdays” where once a week, men fuck each other. But they don’t limit it to Thursday. They do it all the time. If you tell them that’s gay, they’ll tell you that it’s not, because you’re just helping your buddy. I’ve been propositioned by so many ANA, and walked in on so many Afghan dudes fucking each other, it’s unreal.

Why, as in why now? Would that not be a denunciation of a long kept and lived belief system? Here’s a fun fact: in countries that have universal healthcare, they pay more than I do as a free American. Kinda cool. Baptist funerals are far more joyful than Catholic weddings. Catholics are incredibly formal in the way they mourn their dead. The Baptist funeral I’ve been to was incredibly fulfilling. I found out something about certain villages, their… coming of age… practices… that I would rather not have known so I’ll spare you all the details. It involves the male population, and it is brain bleach worthy.
