Yeah, it was flawless. Best she ever looked. This super glam looks fit her very well, remember her Lamé golden look? This is what I find particularly disappointing about Lala- she is capable of putting together pretty decent looks as evidenced by these 2 outfits, I don’t get how/why a high percentage of her looks are just so bad. Her ass runaway i was like? WHERE IS THE PROPORTION? She looks so blocky and the Books are my love language flower T-Shirt Besides,I will do this ass part is ….ugly? Not to mention that Dida Ritz S4 wig It was also weird having a nude illusion and a cut-out. I feel like it’s a one or the other situation since they’re both supposed to be, well, nude. And the illusion didn’t even match her gorgeous skin – to the point that it made her butt look like a fake butt! The biggest sin was that curly wig from episode one. There isn’t a soul out there that could make that look fierce. The thing with Lala Ri is that she’s such an amazingly likable and funny person but her runways and challenge performances are always pretty meh or middle of the road at best. Every memorable moment she’s had is in the confessional chair where she absolutely shines or in more of a making of/behind the scenes setting. I’ve never seen her live but I imagine in her own environment she’d be so entertaining but she just doesn’t adapt well to this made up challenge context. She’s so endearing and is such an entertaining person but it just seems to never really translate to the challenge at hand. Her getting more praise than Kahanna and Heidi doesn’t sit right with me AND I LOVE LALA. I mean just her runways are flop, her charisma is still there.

Yeah her being in the Books are my love language flower T-Shirt Besides,I will do this top during the ball was wild to me. There were a couple of queens who had waaaaay better showings that episode who were safe. I like her in the werkroom, but on the runway she’s so same-y. (She’s obviously not alone there, but she’s just who we’re talking about…) Something about the way she looks in that fruity look triggers negative emotions in my brain. It almost makes me angry. I think this is what Ru felt when she looked at Joe Black. I literally thought it was ketchup and mustard for a second and was like THAT ISN’T THE PROMPT LALA, and then when I realized what she was trying to do…oh girl. Even the headpiece makes it look like her head is being squeezed out yet somehow also looks baggy. It’s almost impressive. A gradient on the dress and some sparkle would have helped, and kept the concept intact. The dress was flat and one dimensional. And the worst bit is that in promo interviews, so many queens said we would see the Lala Ri runway glow up experience…Bish when some looks should just make a queen eliminated immediately no questions asked skip over the lip sync, go directly to jail, do not collect 200 ru-dollars … and that RULY FANZ runway is absolutely deserving of this treatment.
