Maybe they were wrong to say illegal, but it still may be against the Boku No Hero Academia All Might Exceeds Your Limits Starbucks Logo Shirt and by the same token and rules. Just because something isn’t illegal doesnt mean you can just do it. A funeral home or any buisness is well within their rights to prohibit eating or drinking in a specific area even if there is no actual law to make it illigal. Agreed, I’m being petty. It started out as me just having a bad day and this seemed so asinine It put me over the edge. I mean, its milk. In a cup. I can see breastfeeding being a touchy subject, but its not that. Since I found out its a real law, I dont blame them for following it. Now Im more mad that there’s some dumb law like this out here. But then again, this is michigan. It wasnt until a few years ago we repealed dower rights! No breastfeeding shouldn’t be a touchy subject at all. I will die on this hill with you because young kids should be able to drink wherever the fuck they want.

We are repealing all kinds of stupid laws like this right now. You could always write to Lansing with your story and the Boku No Hero Academia All Might Exceeds Your Limits Starbucks Logo Shirt and by the same token and reference for the law. Weirder things have happened. I’m not at all bothered. I was curious as to why the OP seem to have been so affected by it. And even they admitted it was a bit of an overreaction so….Why does it bother you that I asked why they were bothered? Except in this case there are actual laws against having food in funeral homes and similar places. Most people haven’t heard of them, but there’s actual laws. Yeah but from what I’ve been reading, it refers to funeral homes allowing catered food into funeral homes, or providing the food for people themselves. It varies by state, so without knowing your state laws I can’t say what it actually says. Sometimes laws intending for one purpose go far beyond it. Either way, I can see the church thinking the laws applied to anyone with food or drink in a funeral and freaking out about it. Most people aren’t lawyers and their understanding of the laws isn’t perfect even when they are trying. That’s what I’m thinking. The daughter will benefit much more from having her dad cuddle and play with her than spend hours pouring over Michigan state laws to defend her right to drink some milk. Have I heard of this specific thing? Nope. Have I heard of a church making random rules up and forcing them on people? Why yes, yes I have.
