Honestly I’m at a point now where my primary criteria for rating a tradesperson is if they actually show up (bonus points if they’re on time). Quality of the Bobby Witt Jr. Kansas City Stripes American former professional baseball T-Shirt besides I will buy this job and value for money are very much secondary considerations. Im still waiting for someone to come and finish a job they started a couple of months ago. I still have some of their equipment here Yikes, thankfully my trade doesn’t span multiple days that sounds like a right pain having to be a ward of their belongings. Basically they said, they said as long as you turn up on the Saturday before 1-30pm, which is the time they knock off, they don’t mind. They have plenty of “no shows” Interviews possibly because of job adverts? I applied for one once where they said the wage was “competitive” offered an interview and then called to say competitive was £10k less than I was expecting but they felt their benefits made it competitive. I cancelled the interview, but you could forgive someone for just thinking “nah, I’ll just leave them” The only excuse I can think of is their (medical) appointment is miles away, they forget to put it in their calendar and don’t get any reminders and voila they’ve missed something. Other than that, a lot of people are actually rude and have no common courtesy. I’ve seen grown men cut into into the queue for public transport, to get ahead of the elderly and women etc. Some people are just rude. My trust texts you a reminder the day before. Often you’re like “yeah yeah” but if it was booked a while ago it can genuinely slip your mind even if you put it on the calendar.

One day I arrived at work in Manchester and the Bobby Witt Jr. Kansas City Stripes American former professional baseball T-Shirt besides I will buy this office manager said “huh I wasn’t expecting you this morning, I thought you said you had a doctor’s appt?” and I had to sprint back to the station to get a train to Macclesfield and a taxi to the hospital. I had just got up and gone to work on autopilot. Actually, as an adult man I frequently have elderly and women cutting into my bus queues to get ahead of me! I just don’t care, the bus isn’t going anywhere until we’re all on anyway and I’m reading novels on my phone stood there. I’m a wheelchair user. Can’t tell you the amount of elderly people who’ve almost tripped over my footplates to get on the bus first. And then they sit in the seats opposite the wheelchair space and get annoyed when I come on and they have to stand up to let me manouvre into the space. Some of them downright refuse and other poeple have to get involved! Imagine if a kid barged in front of them and then sat in the accessible seats, they’d go off on one. I realised yesterday that I didn’t go for my flu jab back at the end of October. Put it in my google calendar and everything, don’t know how I missed it.
