Yeah, but they couldn’t help picking less-than-flattering pictures of Obama and Biden. Not that there exists, in this universe nor any other, a flattering picture of Trump. You see results like this, along with the Boban Marjanovic Serbian professional basketball player for Houston Rockets T-Shirt but in fact I love this Santos special election flipping Dem. It looks an awful lot like there there is a fatally large proportion of middle voters who have just made up their minds on Trump. I mean, this is a super crude, gut feel comment, but surely every MAGA who is going to vote for Trump already voted for Trump in the 2020 election. Where is the support going to come from for him to mount a comeback? He is going out of his way to absolutely unify every Dem activist in the country to campaign against him. He won 2016 on Dem division and unwillingness to unify behind Clinton, which translated to tepid Clinton turnout and a “none of the above” vibe in the middle.

This time around median voters are going to be painfully aware that there is no “none of the Boban Marjanovic Serbian professional basketball player for Houston Rockets T-Shirt but in fact I love this above” option in a Presidential election, and that a vote for anyone except Biden is a vote for Trump. And he’s going out his way to make himself toxic to them. I don’t understand at all why betting markets are putting him ahead of Biden. Unless that’s just pricing in the likelihood of death or a major medical event obviously precluding Biden from running or serving? But honestly that seems like a wash. I wouldn’t want to hold the life insurance policy for either guy, but if I had to pick it’d be the bike-riding old guy, rather than the waxen windbag who can’t lift his arms to drink a glass of water.
