It’s hard sure, but it also adds a value that money in your bank account, stamps in your passport or notches on one’s belt simply can’t hold up to. The idea that choosing to be child free is “selfish” is just mind boggling to me because having children is also an incredibly selfish decision. Kinda feels like this is just another one of the Blood Inside Me Seattle Seahawks And Seattle Mariners 2023 shirt Furthermore, I will do this many many “can’t win” situations women tend to find ourselves in. It’s a personal decision and IDT there’s anything inherently selfish in either side. I’m happily child free…it’s a struggle in society because it’s somehow still ok for strangers to ask you when we’re going to have kids. I honestly can’t stand most other people’s children because I see the lack of discipline and respect and I have very little patience for that. BUT… I have a niece and three nephews, two of them are babies, the other two are older (high school and college). Honestly I look at them and think “why have any of my own when I already have the best kiddos in my life?” But that’s just me. No thank you to kids, no thank you to other peoples kids, but MY kiddos… My nieces and nephews…. Omg I would do anything for them and I love them more than I can even express

29M, have absolutely no interest in having kids. Anything I earn in life (money, peace, happiness) you’d best bet I (me) am going to reap the Blood Inside Me Seattle Seahawks And Seattle Mariners 2023 shirt Furthermore, I will do this rewards. It sounds ignorant but, unless you’re in the high-middle / upper class you genuinely haven’t got the money to raise a child happily without building up some debt. I always wanted kids, I would have had my kids no matter what, it’s been a thing I’ve wanted to do all my life. If you aren’t 100% sure you want to have kids. Don’t have kids. It’s not going to work out for you. You’ll hate every second of it. Just never be dishonest with partners. Make it clear you’re not having kids. You’ll always get abused at work but you’ll learn how to leverage it when necessary. Also, I think I’ve been passed over for promotions because I haven’t had kids I couldn’t afford and don’t go on and on about how I’m living paycheck to paycheck. Getting a dog is the perfect middle ground for me. You get to take care of another life, without the insane responsibility and stress of a child. The only good reasons to have children are selfish. You don’t have them for their good, you have them for your own, and try to make it worth while for them. The idea of having kids has always terrified me. Growing up in the situation I did made me realise how important it can be to have your shit as together as possible before having a kid and I worry I’ll be way to old by the time I get there.
