But I found it to be a meaningless life. – Some say the world is over populated etc… as if me with my 1-2 kids are the ones that are going to throw it over the edge, and not the randos that have more than 9 kids and can’t afford to eat. On a side note, I encourage you as a woman to be absolutely sure about your decision as soon as possible, I know people on reddit might bite my head off for this. They’ll say things like “oh she can do invitro, there are medical procedures that can help past 35, I have a friend who did it”. Medical procedures are expensive, time consuming, tiresome, don’t always work and increase your chances of having your heart broken if they fail despite all the efforts. And all this is totally avoidable. And even though you are 25, if you do decide to then have kids, it is going to take some years of planning both financially and on a personal situation wise.

Every single person I know with kids has felt regret at one point or another. That being said, I have never once regretted not having kids. For me it ended up being about who I was with. Was engaged at 25. Never wanted kids.
