Look for a new job, confront after you secured new job. If he continues to pester during this time, enforce strong boundaries in relation to contacting your wife for meetups. Seems like you guys have blurred those professional boundaries which has led to this. You could always take it to text, set up a dinner date etc, then YOU turn up instead of your wife. Pretend that your wife told you that your boss wanted to have dinner with you. Is there any chance at all that he’s trying to plan a surprise for you and wants her input to make it special? (We all know the Blondie T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this answer is no, but throwing it out there in case there is a 0.000005% chance of it happening!) Like the comments are saying, legal consultation on the grounds of breach of privacy and sexual harassment, if that works out inform his wife for good measure. If it doesn’t it’s your call to inform his wife as things could get sticky at work with him. Tell his son as well. Pieces of shit like him deserve worse

Blondie T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Let it progress just enough to collect evidence with blatant intent. Then burn everything down. I’m sure it’s a good enough reason to leave and get unemployment for a toxic/ unsafe work environment. Report the Blondie T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this PoS everyway possible and press charges if there is anything there. Maybe even a lawyer to sue him/the company. Depends how confrontational you want to be. You could say to him that your wife mentioned he wanted to meet you both about food, do it with his wife there ideally. It might turn into dinner with the 4 of you there where you could really show you and the Mrs are a unit that won’t be compromised. He’ll also have to squirm around trying to think of what to talk about regarding healthy eating, hell likely make a prick of himself, his wife will know what his intentions were and hell get his fingers burned. What he’s done is really dark, he’s asked your wife to keep a secret from you, it is a harmless secret but it is testing the water to see if she could keep other things secret from you, it’s very manipulative. I’d also keep on mind that if it all goes badly wrong then you might end up fighting your legal case for unfair dismissal or whatever so keep everything recorded and appropriate etc in case you need evidence.
