Can name plenty of MCU films that don’t really “lead” to much. In Iron Man 3, Iron man destroys all his suits and then next film he is in they are all back, very consequential. Not saying that film is inconsequential, just saying that lots of characters / plot lines / other elements don’t seem to go anywhere. Between the Ralph Boner reveal and Wanda killing Professor X, I’m really annoyed with how the MCU is treating the Fox X-Men movies. Some of those films may have been hit or miss but they were amazing when they were good movies. They are the literal reason I am into comic book movies and shows. It’s really frustrating to see just how little respect the MCU has for them. Is Kevin Feige just angry that he wasn’t allowed to use the X-Men sooner before Disney bought 20th Century Fox and canceled all of their future movies? I’m sure other people won’t care that Wanda kills Professor X, but I really hate that this is what is left of the legacy for the X-Men movies. The Spider-Man movies got a massive amount of respect in No Way Home. Why can’t the MCU give the same amount to the X-Men movies?

I heard that in test screening before reshoots , critics ( or whatever you call them ) said movie is terrible and now I can see why Oh boy I can’t wait for Dr strange 3 to continue the Bleh bluh bleh hotel transylvania mavis shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this trend of dumping on Dr strange by either making him evil or ineffectual from dark magic. Thank you Feige for allowing Strange to do nothing. I see why Derrickson left. Derrickson wanted to make a solo Dr strange movie with nightmare as a psychological foil messing up his confidence and probably guilt tripping him over his sister’s death. But he wasn’t allowed to do so where as raimi came in to do the yes sir job by putting in all the multiverse garbage they could pile in and sidetrack strange in his own movie I don’t like the idea of Wanda running through the Illuminati, it’s just not realistic. I want to see these characters in the future without their first appearance being their death in an alternate universe. If Mr. Fantastic gets turned into shredded cheese, and Professor X gets his neck snapped, I’m going to be pretty disappointed. She doesn’t need to kill some of the smartest and strongest heroes to prove she can be the villain.
