Like “WE have cancer.” You can support and be present and part of the experience, but only one person is living in the body every second of every day. “We’re having a baby” is a mutual experience. “We’re pregnant” has always struck me as strange. I’m not gonna get on anyone’s case about it, but it sounds silly.
