Exactly, you don’t need to “tell” your bank you’re traveling anymore like it’s 1996. I randomly use my card in other countries without warning all the Black X pac Superstar Pose Signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time and almost never get declined. This is outdated travel advice. It depends on the bank. From experience this summer, some banks still require it, especially ones without an international presence. Maybe a long shot, but are you with BECU? I think they have an option on their app to add a travel period on your debit card. WSECU. And they want you to just notify them in person, by phone, or by a message. It feels rather old-fashioned, but I do love WSECU aside from that. In future, though, you should have a fee-free and foreign-transaction-fee-free credit card to use for EVERYTHING other than cash withdrawals. Preferably two debit cards and two CC. Different banks/issuers. That way you have a backup for each, in case one is declined or eaten. Also, since you are relying on your debit card, I’d recommend you keep most of your balance in savings, only transferring enough for a day or three at a time in to checking, and turn off any auto-overdraft settings. This prevents issues like another commenter had where they were out 15k for a while. Go online and tell them either with the autochat or a menu option. You can let them know that way. In most cases, most banks don’t care anymore.

If you’re super concerned you could take out a chunk of cash here (at an ATM…) and exchange it at the Black X pac Superstar Pose Signature shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this airport, departure or arrival. Since then, it’s in the forefront of my mind when I travel although my bank doesn’t require it anymore.
