I’ve seen fat rich kids, I’d say it really depends on where you live. In coastal CA here everyone lives active lifestyles and we have the Bitch i’m not a princess i’m the fucking queen skull shirt besides I will buy this weather to do so year round. In northern latitudes it’s cold 4-7 mos out of the year, much harder to be active no mattwr how much money ya got. Honestly, cheaper food is less nutritional. Potatoes are cheap but full of carbs. 93% fat free beef is much more expensive than the 80/20 stuff. im sure there are fat rich kids, but heres my take. Unhealthy, Highly processed foods and drinks are cheap and commonly found anywhere. If you can’t afford school food, that unhealthy food is also easy to bring to school since it wont go bad sitting half the day with a small ice pack on it. Wealthy people will also most likely feel more social pressure to be and look healthy and will have the money or time to do so. Statistically, lower income usually leads to higher obesity rates do to eating whatever you can afford. The common folk also tend to be pushed lies about their health and what theyre eating. This wont apply all the time to everyone but for a large amount, yeah. Beyond the fact that money and time make it easier to live a healthy life, the generationally wealthy people I know take appearances very seriously. There is a lot of pressure (for girls especially) to be thin and attractive. It might be because the upper class is more traditional. It might be because being fit and thin is seen as virtuous, and technically isn’t something you can buy. The more money you have, the more important those other things that can’t be bought seem to matter. (Think prestigious college admissions)
Bitch i’m not a princess i’m the fucking queen skull shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
I mean its pretty straightforward, they have the Bitch i’m not a princess i’m the fucking queen skull shirt besides I will buy this money to do stuff, plus they dont need to buy cheap unhealthy food Who’s more likely to be in good shape – the wealthy kid who has soccer, gymnastics, tennis, and swimming lessons in the same week? Or the poor kid who comes home every day after school and watches TV because that’s the only entertainment their parents can afford? Being poor means poor diet because you spend less on poor people food, which just happens to never be anywhere close to being healthy. Food production and consumption has changed such that fatty and sugary foods actually form a more affordable (both money and time wise) option. Poor people are not only money poor but time poor, working longer hours and having less time to prepare food. Wealthier people, even when they work more, can better afford higher quality pre-prepared food, or in a family one partner may not need to work, or they can afford help.
