Exceptions have been made both in the Billy Joel ZZ top thank you for the memories signature shirt it is in the first place but UK and the EU to help vulnerable citizens who didn’t apply in time or had difficulties, as part of the protocol agreement. Refusing to give this family some grace and assistance is cruel and unnecessary and it is punishing her family of Swedish citizens, not British citizens. Your beef should be with the British passport system. The Swedes are following international protocol, and there isn’t really anything that they can do in this situation. Of course there is stuff they can do. Sweden has declined a disproportionate number of British applications for residency since Brexit compared to other EU countries, and in this case, they have failed to take into multiple (presumably Swedish) doctor’s notes explaining specific vulnerabilities that could be taken into to help this family complete this lady’s application. She is eligible, due to nearly two decades of living there, it is just a beaurocratic issue of providing an up to date passport, which presumably they are trying to arrange.

Also, her family could have wheel-chaired her to the Billy Joel ZZ top thank you for the memories signature shirt it is in the first place but Embassy, so her being bedridden is not an excuse for not renewing it. On a serious note, a single person can’t be that much of a burden, plus morally her family lives in Sweden so it’s definitely not the preferable choice. On the other hand, as a British person, I do understand edginess towards British complaints regarding the negative effects of Brexit. We chose this course. that is not an uncommon rationale in countries with a universal healthcare system. for example, i think new zealand stopped a woman from immigrating because she was too fat and was deemed a potential liability for the healthcare system personally i disagree with this rationale. economically speaking it makes perfect sense but if you believe that healthcare is a human right then i think you must also believe that kicking people out of your country because they are a burden runs countercurrent to that belief personally i disagree with this rationale. economically speaking it makes perfect sense but if you believe that healthcare is a human right then i think you must also believe that kicking people out of your country because they are a burden runs countercurrent to that belief They cannot afford to give healthcare to everyone in the world, regardless of how they feel about it. So they turn away people who are not citizens who do not have the right to be there. Except she’s been in care in Sweden for 11 years. She’s lived there for 18 years and certainly did not vote for brexit as she was incapable of doing so, she is an EU citizen and deserves to remain in the EU.
