Eventually though, if you can’t train your dog properly you’re gonna have to nut up and buy a shock collar. That’s the last resort when you’ve fucked up every other option. It killed me when she acted so offended at the idea of a shock collar directly after saying she’d get an electric fence and then she realized how ignorant she sounded when he called her out. What’s with all the pitbull hate? My dog “pittbull” rescue. Is a great dog. Family oriented. Saved my daughters life when a stranger tried to kidnap her. Let’s my kids do whatever they want to him and is an EMoitional support animal for me. I suffer from PTSD. He’s never had to be trained to protect our yard or our house. And as long as we let you in either he’s fine. There’s no such thing as a bad breed, only bad owners, and I’m tired of people bashing Pitts. Because there are other breeds that bite far more often than pit bulls. Almost all of them are owned by people like this lady.

Why is it that every pitbull owner has a sob story? I have a dog, she’s a good girl and nothing notable has happened. Bigger dogs are extremely capable of killing or seriously harming people and it isn’t rare for it to actually happen. I don’t care who you are or who you think your dog is, that thing is an animal and aggressive animals desperately need to have that trained out of them if they are to live amongst humans because otherwise someone is going to get hurt, whether it be the dog, a human, or both. Dude wouldn’t last two fuckin seconds working in a kennel or veterinary care. With that being said, she is incredibly pretentious. They are both handling the situation poorly, but at least the woman is trying to say hey why don’t we have my dog get to know you. I worked with animals for a long time and still regularly volunteer at a humane society to work with aggressive animals and I don’t think people fully understand that dogs are typically aggressive as a result of fear and can usually sense something unusual in an individual, but this is not always the case of course. As angry as the guy is, even my two loving fur babies probably wouldn’t like him either.
