If I see that they are not feeling well, sure, I’d feel empathy rather than sympathy. I’m more talking about things like messy hair, no makeup etc – your phrasing made it look like you’re finding it weird to like such things in general. Your phrasing made me think that you are finding some person hot even if they are in the Best niall Horan Lovers Club Shirt also I will do this verge of unconsciousness because of the flu No likey the desperate ones try to go for ones in vunerable positions and dire straights thinking they wont have to compete Like, I get it. Intelligent, bookish girls are hot. Hermione has had a lasting impact on my very sexuality after reading Harry Potter growing up. But mate, it’s a fucking library. People are not there to get hit with shitty pick-up lines. You wanna find a nerd girl in a more amenable habitat, contribute to the rebirth of arcades, maybe. Honestly there’s not really any place where it feels appropriate to talk to a stranger in that way unless you’re being introduced by someone else. I’d say some social settings are like that. It’s less awkward to approach someone at a party or concert or whatever. And obviously plenty of people really do go to bars to pick up/be picked up. One should never assume any given person is there to flirt or hook up, obviously, but the library is just a particularly bad place since it’s supposed to be a quiet, introspective place for studying or entertainment. It’d be like trying to find a partner at the movie theater.

Yeah no! At a party or concert you will find people who like to go to parties or concerts. But people are different. There’s never a wrong place, even at a funeral. The wrong mindset is if people go to a certain place trying to find someone to approach. Just be genuine, just go to a place because you have something to do there or if you like that place. Then if you are somehow attracted to someone, just approach with manners which are suitable for that place. Like in the Best niall Horan Lovers Club Shirt also I will do this library you just need to smile if she smiles back slides a paper with compliment and your contact then leave her. If she likes you she will contact you. “Talk to a girl in a library!? Pfft, no, you should be trying to single handedly resurrect the western arcade industry and then talk to a girl there!” I love posts like these because they think they are giving solid advice. But instead they’re just exposing themselves as sleezballs.
