Also playing around with different colors that are compatibleon the shirt, washing it correctly to avoid fading and thinning of fabric, tailoring the shirt to make it fit better…all of these things help keep those “old band shirts” able to be dressed up. I like to wear my ratty band Ts with a tulle skirt and a leather jacket, or under a polished blazer with jeans when I want to dress them up a bit. I love the longline bralettes or bustiers on top of tshirts (particularly tighter fits would probably work better) for an edgy but delicate look. This could also work well with a blazer on top. Being that you’re an art student I think your tees would also work marvelously under overalls or overall dresses and pinafores as a casual every day outfit.
