Your old landlord may try and go after you for that. Under no circumstances give them that money unless forced to by the courts. No moving after 4:00 is an absurd rule and truly not your problem anymore. Honestly OP, I think it’s way more important than you realize that you asked for an accommodation since you’re disabled and we’re denied that. You may want to include this in your post. You weren’t able to move on your own and needed movers to assist you. If you could have done it yourself, you could have loaded it up early and waited around in a truck. Instead, you had to pay movers and it costs money for them to just “wait around”. I’m not a lawyer, but again, seems highly relevant to the situation here. Did you sign a Form K? You probably did. That form is your acknowledgement of the bylaws and agreement to abide by them.

Even if there is a judgment just don’t pay it by the time they get three the system to actual collect everyone will have just given up cause it won’t be worth it.
