I walk my dog quite early in the Best i don’t Snore I Dream I am a Tractor T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this morning (up at 5am) twice in 6 months the same dog has attacked mine and on the first occasion drew blood, the owner is completely unconcerned and made no effort to recall or control his dog. I now carry a little can of deodorant with me to spray at the dog if it approaches us again, is this considered an offensive weapon? not sure if it’s relevant but I’m a 5′ 4 female with a border collie on a lead and the other dog is an off lead German shepherd and the owner is a maleFirst thing – report this to the police. So far the other dog has only bloodied yours, but obviously shows a pattern of aggressive behaviour which could escalate. Second – buy a dog specific deterrent spray. I carry a can of K917 in a torch holder clipped to my belt. Perfectly legal & better than a deodorant.

I’m in Ireland now and the Best i don’t Snore I Dream I am a Tractor T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this only reason I can’t get this is because nobody can deliver it due to post Brexit rules. Unless I want to pay €170 for delivery Just chiming in to say a spray can of deoderant is a terrible defence plan. A powerful dog with no issue drawing blood is just going to get angry with you. It’s a point blank weapon that’s ineffective. No legal help i just don’t want you to get seriously hurt. You can buy a pet corrector at pets at home. It’s just a can that sprays a woosh of air out. Effective against dogs This is better, if questioned then you’re correcting “your” dog. Not many people need to apply deodorant mid dog walk. First thing to my mind is my wife has this comb with a freaking metal spike on the end of it, which is apparently for pulling out tangles? Looks more like a shiv if you ask me. Having seen inside my wife’s handbag, I know it won’t be, there are lots of things that could be used to defend yourself, but looking from a legal POV deodorant, deep heat spray, pin tail comb etc is being used as a weapon and could cause injury, the pet corrector spray is just compressed air, occasionally with a citrus scent for the sole purpose of correcting the pet, designed for the purpose. If someone sprayed my dog with deep heat then I’d probably react in a way that will make the situation and how OP feels threatened worse. The guy is clearly at best careless, at worst an arsehole who could react badly and escalate the situation.
