Yea that’s what I ment. For your parents. But if they are that bad with the Bershka I Love Troy High School Shirt it is in the first place but internet then they may not use it with having an education on internet or computers. Otherwise it would even possible for them to convince you against your knowledge and beliefs. Which would be very interesting. May I ask…how did they respond generally? Don’t need to answer if that’s too personal. Did they have a supportive reaction at least? When I came out to my dad, he was quiet. Then he went to the library and researched the subject (1993). He was never the type to dismiss me, definitely an unconditional love kinda guy but it helped him to have more info for sure There are some documentaries and talk shows on youtube done by VTV about LGBT. You can send those to them. I did this to my parents. They for sure need time to process but the national television shows were definitely legit enough for them to believe. Hm well… they likely will find sources of their own (friends, facebook). You can send articles about it but their process will have to come from themselves and not you. You also will probably need to find your own support as the uphill battle into getting your parents to accept you is … traumatizing.

I hope you are okay. It was good to come out to them. Be patient and wait till they ask you more questions about your life. Why would they need more info? You’re attracted to something else, nothing else needs to be said. No crazy explanation necessary, it’s very simple. This doesn’t mean you should immediately shock your parents with lgbtq stuff, it’ll probably upset them. Just do your thing without making a big show out of it. Not even sure how I’d react if I had a kid that came out… I’d probably be like “ok, cool, and?”, nothing weird or wrong about it, you do what you want. Bro I just read a comment on FB today and a Vietnamese guy said that he has come out 4 times and all 4 times after that his mom took him to pagodas💀. AP can be very conservative when it comes to LGBT+ matters.
