The FBI has a history of infiltrating extremist groups with Cointelpro. I’d wager that they’re still doing it, the Ben Rhodes Craftsman Truck Series Champion T-Shirt moreover I will buy this info about it probably just isn’t declassified. There are a few different reasons and different people who say this. People on the right usually mean it as “the Feds are trying to make us look bad with false flag Nazi stuff.” People on the left often mean it in an anti-police sense, as in “I can’t tell where the riot line ends and the Nazi march starts” or just “Oh wow, the Feds are out without the local cops.” This is in part due to the fact that when members of neonazi and white nationalist groups are outed, a significant number of their members usually belong to law enforcement. When people refer to Neo-Nazi parades as “Feds,” they might be using it as a slang term to imply that these demonstrations are orchestrated or supported by the government in some way. Because sometimes the Feds like to impersonate other groups in order to do espionage or subterfuge. Its kinda their whole thing, at least when they arn’t passing drugs around to cartels
