Bellaire is abs SHIT. it’s located in the middle of Chinatown meaning that the majority of judges are first-gen Asian-American parents who speak varying levels of English/ have no experience w debate. tab is also v hard to work w; however, really good lay debaters generally do fairly well. So as someone who lives “in the middle of China town” I’m gonna have to say this is a little bit across the line of things, you get to say. I don’t think it’s a public schools fault that they had to get people’s parents to volunteer to be judges, nor is Bellaire Texas TX USA Patriotic Vintage Sports shirt their fault that there aren’t that many experienced debate judges out there. Check your privilege bub.

Sorry, my intention was not to shame an underfunded public school bc I am a second-gen Asian at an underfunded public school but? this is just what a lot of Houston tourneys are like? most schools here are low-income minority communities and for a Dallas school to come here w/o being aware of that would be a disservice to them. They only use hired judges and school judges in LD and Bellaire Texas TX USA Patriotic Vintage Sports shirt, speech I’m sure is shit bc parents are used for that, but the question was about debate, not speech. Also, Bellaire is not in the middle of Chinatown, you’re thinking of strake/Duchesne.

Concessions are lit at Bellaire if u come up to me and show me this comment I will give u a free dollars worth of stuff. Plano West SZ semi’d at grapevine. They should be tier 1. The first speaker has confirmed learned English since grapevine and said that they will, in fact, win the tournament. Bellaire Texas TX USA Patriotic Vintage Sports shirt. Did not win a round at Plano Senior. Also, can confirm the first speaker still struggling to grasp English. Clear Brook ES(Adarsh and Ben) are raw as fuck. They’ll probably win the tournament easily, no one compares to them.
