It’s insane, I got a super thin engineered phone, but need a thick plastic shell. Instead make them durable and long lasting! People say that, but devices are still quite heavy. There is a reason why people crave thinness and more importantly, lightness. It’s because they feel good to use. Just look at laptops from 20 years ago and you will see what I mean. It’s actually quite tiring on your wrist. Now imagine you are running from meeting room to another, while holding other things. It doesn’t take long to cause fatigue. If you actually try to use these laptops in a mobile fashion, put them on your lap, throw into a backpack, take notes on the go, carry them with you, they actually don’t feel very good after a while. Now, you may ask me why I wouldn’t just use a 13″ MacBook Air instead, but isn’t that question just admitting that there is a lot of value to thinness? The reason I want to use the 14″/16″ is that I value the power and size of the screen, but I do still want it to be a portable device.

Battery life has always been the tiebreaker. The only reason I vouch for Hauwei is because their battery, heck, they even had an ad boasting battery life instead of features, like.. Everyone I know told me to get a Samsung because of it has really good battery life but I’m not getting something substantially lower mAh and costs more.
