Make it available only to individuals who are filming for their own use, i.e. training and form videos, etc. Everyone signs their agreement as part of the Behind every horse girl who believes in herself is a mom who believed in her first T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this gym contract. No filming inside the gym that gets put on social media or otherwise on the internet, if you do and get caught you forfeit your membership and all fees. Other members don’t want to be in your dumbshit Facebook Reel, and they shouldn’t have to be. Then limit it to one corner of the gym, and mandate the cameras can only be pointed inward towards that corner. That way no one who objects to being filmed has to be. Or better yet just don’t allow filming at all. The gym is there to work out. Go be a main character somewhere else. Yes and please ban yoga teachers from taking pics of their students in class. Especially in savasana. It’s so messed up IMO. They should make their policy clear and follow it. It’s not about whether filming is objectively good or bad. It’s about knowing what you’re getting into. Consent.

Behind every horse girl who believes in herself is a mom who believed in her first T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I haven’t gone to a gym for 3 years because the Behind every horse girl who believes in herself is a mom who believed in her first T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this last time I went there were a couple of people filming themselves. I think we are in a point in modern society where filming in public recreational spaces should be banned outright. A decade ago you could make the argument that it’s not a big deal and nobody would notice if you’re in a random person’s video. Now with how easily things go viral, some poor unsuspecting person can have their life ruined because an idiot was filming near them. God no. Virtually everyone at my gym films themselves, primarily for checking form, or just to have records of personal bests. Does wonders, keeps you honest on squat depth, let’s you find your sticking points in lifts…it’s amazing. Ban them in planet fitness along with heavy lifting and actually getting into shape, sure. But real gyms where people actually put in work? Hell no.
