Say what you want about The Beatles, but ‘Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds’ is an unassailable classic. An album with at least one of those can never be “the worst”. Not a bad album per se and its impact cannot be ignored, but the main reasons why it is revered are that it is a The Beatles album and it has an iconic cover art. I’d argue that if The Beatles Thank you for the memories signature Christmas shirt were released by a band that was not so high profile, the public might have forgotten it by now. Or even found it a bit awkward.
