Flipping rocks to find them is pretty harmless, as they don’t like the Be Nice I May Be Your Nurse One Day Vintage T-Shirt and by the same token and bright lights of the sun and scurry to get back under cover. The real risk is reaching under a rock and grabbing on to one unknowingly, where it will bite in defense. In grade one my friend brought in a jar containing a black widow spider that him and his brother had caught. It didn’t even have a lid, he just put some Vaseline around the rim, so “it couldn’t get out”. I have never been admitted to an ER faster in my life than when I went in with what was apparently blood poisoning. Everyone on duty dropped literally everything to admit me; I swear they would have made a gunshot wound wait. Black Widow venom is not as deadly as people have been led to believe, only in the elderly and the very young. It’ll burn for a week and that’s about it.

Be Nice I May Be Your Nurse One Day Vintage T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Black widow bites are actually not as lethal as people think. It is just small animals, small children (basically toddler aged and down), and the Be Nice I May Be Your Nurse One Day Vintage T-Shirt and by the same token and elderly that have to worry. However it is super painful and not fun. Where I live the bigger issue is the brown recluse though… that shit needs to be dealt with ASAP. However I let all the wolf and huntsman spiders have free reign in my apartment as long as they don’t come near me (had a bad experience when younger, so have arachnophobia even though I think spiders are amazing creatures… and honestly think jumping spiders are adorable and want one as a “pet…” yes, I know I am weird and broken…); I do this because I know those two spiders hunt the black widow and brown recluse, so gotta pick the lesser of two evils right?
