And the audience member would be like “Thats a man, Maury!” And the girl would have to be like “I’m a woman” or “I was born a man” – and sometimes it was a drag queen! Because at the time everyone thought drag queen and trans was the same thing. That’s where Manila got her song title “Thats a man, Maury!” from.
