This post is a bittersweet reminder of a better time in America. A time when government had a balanced budget, when we were ignorant of the Bartender America flag heart love shirt Besides,I will do this political leanings of our news channels, and when cars only had one small battery under the hood. But most of all, this is a reminder of the days when .99 cents could buy you a Chili Cheese burrito from Taco Bell and a guaranteed case of the shits. Walt Whitman lamented when lilacs last in the dooryard bloomed, but Karen and the rest of you need to mourn when assholes last in the bathroom boomed. America you are in my thoughts and prayers. So the main issue is that accounting for inflation, that bill of $3.50 in 1999 would come out to over $6 today, so her argument is immediately shit (imagine that). But, what does “your loss, my gain” even mean? The business isn’t losing anything, she already gave them thousands of taco dollars in the past, and she isn’t gaining anything besides the obligation to make her own damn tacos. Also she loses a sweet cheap taco joint.

This is either parody or alarming. Who the Bartender America flag heart love shirt Besides,I will do this hell keeps taco bell receipts from Over two decades ago in an environment where they’d still be this legible?? 23 years ago. When using the core inflation measurement, $1 in 1999 is equivalent in buying power to $1.63 in 2022 (a 63% increase). Applied to his 1999 taco price of $.69, the current price should be about $1.12 each. For three tacos and the same drink in 2022 he should expect to pay about $4.82. I don’t know if that $5 included a drink but fuck him anyway. Everybody deserves a fair wage. This is typical Republican brainwashing talking. Minimum wage has been the same since 2009. I guess since all price increases are 100% only caused by raises in minimum wage that nothing is more expensive than it was then. /s Prices go up because something happened in the supply chain. It could even be as simple as a wholesaler raising prices to send his 4 kids to college instead of the 3 he had last year.
