Agree, My town’s community center gym/swimming pool has rows of private rooms along a halls in the Barry Sanders Detroit Lions Homage Retired Player Caricature Shirt and by the same token and area leading to the pool . They are varying sizes for singles or family use. I thought it was a great idea. So have a urinal room too, and then put all the sinks in the same room so you can get away with half as many. That way it’ll be a wash. No pun intended Well, instead of 1″ between stalls there would be 6″. So yeah more space, but less grief. It comes down to $$$, so it won’t happen. KCI has the best airport bathrooms! Missouri passed the stupid law while KC was renovating the airport, they decided to build exactly like this. It saves space because there don’t need to be two separate bathrooms. Just good floor to ceiling stalls. Also they have lights that show when the door is locked.

Doubt they would actually have to go a full 6″ wall for the Barry Sanders Detroit Lions Homage Retired Player Caricature Shirt and by the same token and stall… a couple of 2″ x 4″ (or 2″ x 2″ if they can get them approved as sturdy enough) posts covered on each side with some industrial bathroom wall materials make a sturdy enough wall to separate a few toilet stalls with doors, especially if they have the sink bank outside for all to use. I could see restrooms like this taking up far less space than the current version. Make each toilet room the size of a decent stall with the commode facing the door like a normal stall, throw in a few handicap accessible rooms large enough for a wheelchair and assistant and a small room with changing tables only… add the sinks and fountains on the opposite wall and you have a decent set up in the space of a short hallway.
