The comics have always been inaccessinle and esoteric to me since they are priced ridiculously where I come from since I was a kid. All of these, other than Star Wars, are honestly chump change. I’m currently watching Babylon 5, the five season show alone is around 70 hours of content. Doctor Who core canon is essentially only two shows, and it makes up hundreds of hours (I couldn’t find an exact number), not counting spin-offs. MCU tv shows tend to have <10 episodes a season, older sci-fi had 26 episodes. And I’m not all that familiar with Anime, but I googled Naruto for a representative sample, and it has more than 700 episodes.

Dc has so many animated movies and shows you could not finish that shit in less than a decade. The shit for Batman ALONE would take up several years Honestly? I got more out of watching the Luke/Han/Leia trilogy of Star Wars and could have gone without seeing the prequels or the fluff. Then I’d watch Batman: The Animated Series, watch the Dark Knight, read a bunch of marvel comics, see a few of the Marvel films, and maybe two or three bond films. Don’t get me started on One Piece or Kingdom Hearts. Once I fell off those trains there was no getting back onto them. Now that there are a hundred streaming services out there any paying for more than one of them is stupid, I’ve found myself going back to books.
