I just finished a custody battle in court yesterday. My ex wife brought in her psychologist to testify about her mental health. The psychologist admitted that her only treatment of my ex was over the Baby Groot hug football Vikings logo shirt but in fact I love this phone and they’d never met virtually or in person. The psychometric testing was emailed to my ex to fill out and email back. (I don’t understand how the Dr could validate that data considering anyone could have filled it out unsupervised when disseminated that way) The doctor’s session notes were provided and it was clear my ex wife lied to her about several things, including how I now beat my current wife and the children mimic those actions on themselves. (this allegation was never said to the court in the last three years of this custody battle) (also, ex-wife retracted that comment when crossed on the stand about why she never told the court that and only said that allegation to her psychologist)

So just as the Baby Groot hug football Vikings logo shirt but in fact I love this testimony of the psychologist was complete, she made an unprompted remark and referred to me as an ‘abuser’. When cross examined on it, she doubled down and said as a practice she always believes everything her client says to her, and that she believes I’m an abuser despite having never attempting to obtain any other collateral evidence outside of what my ex wife told her. To be clear, in three years of custody trial this is the first time the term ‘abuser’ has ever been used by either party. Both parties admitted many times that there was never abuse during the marriage. No police involvement ever occurred nor has CAS ever been involved. This accusation from my ex wife’s doctor seems highly unethical and unprofessional. I’m ordering the transcript of the testimony today and I’d like to know if I should put a complaint in or not.Yes, as you describe it, this is unprofessional, unethical and unskilled practice. You might consider contacting the psychologist’s regulatory body , likely called the College of Ontario Psychologists, to find out how to make a formal complaint. Oh yes. My ex-wifes psychologist diagnosed me as a sociopath, without having ever met me. She then used that in her divorce filings, as in “I’ve had to go to therapy for his sociopathy”.
