I’m an architect on multi family residential projects in a city, I’m not even close to being able to afford the Ayahuasca Classic T-Shirt also I will do this smallest cheapest ‘affordable’ units in any project I’ve worked on. You want to get paid well? Spend all day in a cubicle contributing nothing to society. You want to get paid like shit? Have a job that is necessary & important to the continued functioning of your community & civilization at large. They have to buy all their own tools, have an encyclopedic knowledge about a wide variety of systems, be extremely diligent critical thinkers, deal with very difficult repairs on sometimes very dirty vehicles, and work in extreme conditions. Among many other issues. I had to scroll way too far for this. When it comes to the trades we are one of the lowest paid but require the most knowledge. We need to know a bit about plumbing, electrical, electronics(same but different from electrical), and hell even a bit of blacksmithing. Ive seen an electrician lose to a switch that took me 20 minutes to figure out. It was fucking 4 pole 2 throw switch with 16 pins times 2. They worked together to prevent power from flowing if both were pressed. Speaking of dirty vehicles, r/Justrolledintotheshop had a car posted recently with a filled liter box in the back window.

My husband is a mechanic. He makes quite a bit more than that, but we spend thousands of dollars every year on tools, software support for his scanner, upgrading his scanner, work boots, tool boxes (they don’t last forever) etc. It’s shocking how much he spends. You can’t write it off on your taxes anymore either. And yes, he only gets paid if there are cars coming in. One time during 2020, his take home check for 2 weeks was only $7xx. That really sucked. teachers and bus drivers. imagine having to drive a big ass bus w multiple kids that are also screaming and moving around. such a big yet stressful responsibility Fire fighting. Right out of high school i knew i wanted that profession. Once i found out they make and average of $57,000 ( $85k if you’re lucky and survive long enough to make it to the Ayahuasca Classic T-Shirt also I will do this older ages that the Chiefs get to be), I left training/switched majors in college.
