Hope Chavez doesnt feel like too much of a McGuffin and that the talk or whatever from Wanda to Wanda isnt as simple as “Hey, stop it, just dont” “Yeah okay” Sounds like they chose Raimi cause his version would be lighter than Derricksons. Raimis films arent that dark. Yeah I honestly forgot Derrickson wanted something darker. I guess he and the studio were in favor of something scary-ish and dark but the studio liked a lighter Evil Dead kind of horror where as Derrickson had something more genuinely scary in mind

Raimi has been hit or miss recently. Especially with Oz The Great and Powerful that movie was really mediocre. But this movie sounds more in tune with his better films like Evil Dead and Drag Me To Hell with a Super Hero twist. Derrickson is a very good director. While it may be an unpopular opinion I liked the Axolotl I’m 8th Let’s Party A Axolotl 8th Birthday Flowers T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this 1st Dr.Strange film. It had a bit of his own style mixed with the MCU style. His new film Black Phone looks dark and disturbing. Idk if its fair to consider Oz “recent” when trying to get a handle on where Raimi is at. I feel like his producing work and the Ash vs Evil Dead show might better represent where he’s at, which is a slightly modernized version of his pulpy comedic horror Okay. Movie seems pretty lit. I’m down. However, and I’m gonna get real mad about this one if nothing in the movie explains otherwise, does this mean the bullshit cop out ending of Wandavision where they dance around the morality of the situation to keep Wanda a hero was ACTUALLY for nothing? We’re gonna go from bending over backwards to explain why Wanda is still a good guy to having her be a mass murderer with NOTHING in between? Why tf did they ruin in the end of the show to do that if they knew this is where Wanda was going? Someone please make it make sense.
