To be fair the Awesome stitch happy everything autumn tree halloween xmas shirt in contrast I will get this Doordash drivers are by far the rudest people I see at my job. I’ve had them literally shove their phone in my face and yell “DOORDASH” while I’m in the middle of taking someone else’s order. I get that their job has gotten pretty stressful lately and that some of them are immigrants who don’t speak English, but the lack of basic manners is pretty ridiculous. I wonder if it has to do with Doordash’s contact-free philosophy. here is a big problem with gig apps – there is barely money for the gas, expenses and labor being paid with the shit wages offered — which means there is not any money for fucks to be giving. Pay like shit — well you get what your giving and these companies have yet to realize this and once they do it will be to late and no one will want to use the services they offer because of past bad experiences – it cost money to get people to actually give a fuck – bottom line :joy:

Just why I deleted the app. The receipt yesterday had a different name, not the meal. I was told they gave the wrong bag. I called the restaurant and the driver called support. Before the driver hung up, asked what am I supposed to do with the other order? The restaurant told me if the driver drove back (three miles down the road- they’d have it remade. I’m guessing that someone else did not get their dinner either. I can see how it could be said “have to get through traffic and wait for the food to be made. But this was a Chinese takeout I lived next door to. They have their cooks going non stop. I would call from the house, walk over and they’d be boxing it up if it wasn’t on the counter already.
