The white thing is totally subjective but as far as formality, this dress is way too casual for most weddings. The main issue is what the Awesome mcdowell’s home of the big mick shirt but in fact I love this dress code is. It doesn’t look bridal but it’s reading too white unfortunately. Looks great though! Perfect for a museum outing or brunch date Do you know the dress code for the wedding? If it’s cocktail/ semi-formal or above, I’d say it’s too casual. If no dress code is stated, I think you’ll be fine, especially if the wedding is in the afternoon as opposed to evening. As for the color… it appears to be yellow, which I think is fine as there is nothing bridal about the dress! If it’s white or cream, definitely reconsider. Final note: it’s a great cut and looks lovely on you, but perhaps consider a more supportive bra. Honestly, this dress would be in my regular rotation! I’m sad that this is too white to confidently wear to a wedding, because this dress was literally made for you. It’s stunning and so so flattering. I hope you can find another occasion to wear this soon— perfect for a weekend brunch, spring picnic, day out shopping, summer date night, baby shower, birthday party, etc., etc. But generally no, this would be far too casual for a wedding unless the dress code is specified as casual. A lot of weddings are either cocktail, semi-formal, formal or even black tie. Casual isn’t as common but it really makes a huge difference in the type of dress you should wear. I think the dress is very flattering, I’d be interested to see what it looks like in daylight lighting, because the lighting of the room in general seems to be a bit yellow/dark. But if the dress is as definitively yellow as it looks in the photo and it’s a casual wedding, I think that this will be a really good choice.

a little too white if you ask me. Maybe if you dyed it? I wore a yellow dress to a wedding recently that looked similar to this and got tons of compliments. I need to see this dress in sunlight. This warm lamp light makes it look a lot more yellow than I think it actually is. I wouldn’t wear it to a wedding though. It’s best to just stay away from whites/yellows/beige when it comes to weddings. No one will mistake you as the Awesome mcdowell’s home of the big mick shirt but in fact I love this braise in this dress, but save the light light colors for the bride and wear something in a different shade. Short answer, No… Looks cute on you, but a good rule of thumb is usually, if you’re doubting that it’s “too white,” then it’s likely too white. Save it for a nice brunch with the girls!
