I always took it as Neal as was generally an asshole but loving with his family, so for someone to have softened his heart enough to bring home after all the Awesome johnny Mnemonic Keanu Reeves Dolph Lundgren poster shirt in other words I will buy this tribulation, he must be special. My interpretation was that he spends the whole movie imagining how much different and better he is than Del. Then at the end, he comes to understand that he would become Del if his wife and family were to be taken from him. He brings home Del as an embrace of a part of himself. The audience is stupid – they wouldn’t be able to see that Neal is oblivious to his wife’s worries and he’s bringing Del home because he’s grown to appreciate the guy. They’d think – “Of course he’s dragging Del home – he’s gotta show his wife he’s not cheating with his whose-ee-whotsits!” Did you check out the link and find out why Del had the black eye? I thought that was interesting too. I like how the article explains some things I had been wondering.

There was practically a whole other movies worth of footage cut out of this movie. If you haven’t, it’s worth finding the Awesome johnny Mnemonic Keanu Reeves Dolph Lundgren poster shirt in other words I will buy this uncut one online. Unfortunately I don’t have a link ready lol Star Trek V could have been a cool Steve Martin, John Candy, and William Shatner movie but instead was about crewmembers singing “Row Your Boat” at a campfire. I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one! By the way, does anyone else like the song at the end (Everytime You Go Away)? I think it’s cool but interestingly, it wasn’t the popular version they played on the radio which was sung by Paul Young. I like the ending song, but the song that always gets me is the one a few minutes before it when Neal is on the train as he realizes Del’s wife is dead. Power to Believe – Dream Academy. That flashback montage with the song always makes me tear up a little.
