Is this where they think gay folks come from? Someone just says “I’m gay” and poof their entire sexuality coding changes? People that make these laws are so obsessed with this stuff. How gay are they? Seriously, scale of 1 – 10. 946. Im a liberal. I dont understand why this is necessary. Are there schools actually having sexual identity conversations with K-3rd graders? Are there parents in Texas giving their prepubescent children hormone therapy drugs? Why are these laws even being made? We live in a world with a lot of LGBT people, and it’s just not possible to entirely dodge the Autism Dabbing Society Says I’m Perfect Say I’m Autistic God T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this topic, even with K-3rd graders. Some kids have gay parents. If a 2nd grader has two moms, kids will talk about that, and the teacher isn’t allowed to answer questions or correct misinformation. Same goes for kids with older siblings who are LGBT, or for teachers who are LGBT themselves. Especially in small towns, people gossip, and even something like “It’s not nice to tease people because their older brother is gay” is in violation of the “don’t say gay” bill.

My son’s friend has lesbian parents. Is not allowed to talk about his moms in kindergarten? This whole law is so out of touch and cruel No, but schools are often the Autism Dabbing Society Says I’m Perfect Say I’m Autistic God T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this only source of safe contact with adults outside of the home, so if the child doesn’t feel safe telling their parents something, they often privately tell their teachers or counselors. This is true for all of elementary school, middle school, and high school. LGBTQIA youth are significantly more likely to be disowned by their families and homeless than other youth, so any attempt to legally compel teachers to out LGBTQIA children to their parents will directly increase the rate of domestic abuse and child homelessness. No, this is not even possible. But Texas is outlawing the use of puberty blockers, for which there is a scientific consensus as a safe and effective method of alleviating gender dysphoria in teenagers and thereby significantly reducing rates of depression and suicide while a child waits until reaching an adult age of consent to undergo either a masculinizing or feminizing puberty of their choice. Texas is also using state law enforcement and child protective resources as harassment against families whose credentialed healthcare providers have diagnosed gender dysphoria in children. Seriously? There’s a whole song about “it’s my mouth I can say what I want to” that was on the top 40 charts a few years ago…. fricking idiots.
