Personally I film loads of sets, I don’t post them anywhere or keep any of them longer than it takes to rewatch them but being able to check your form frequently from the Autism always unique totally intelligent sometimes T-Shirt But I will love this side (which you can’t do with a mirror while doing say a deadlift) prevents you slacking form a little to get more weight and that progressing each week to sketchy form that will get you fucking hurt. I’d be open to “ban tripods” because they get in the way and it’s insane to me gyms will ban bags on the floor but you can have a tripod taking up a shitload of space. But again 99% of people using them will place it do their set and fold it up and move it to their stuff again causing minimal inconvenience to people the 1% that don’t are really fucking annoying though I agree.

I just don’t get why the Autism always unique totally intelligent sometimes T-Shirt But I will love this gym is a specific place where filming should be banned. Like, if you’re ok with people making videos in parks, stores, other public spaces, then what is it about the gym that makes it the exception? Because there are strength athletes who want to optimize and become stronger so that we can be more competitive and filming is an invaluable tool for this. Many people have coaches who are not present while they are lifting, so they have to send recordings to their coaches for critiques. It’s like any other sport, not hard to understand Because there might actually be decent people who want to document/check their posture/progress. Don’t get me wrong, I’d fully support banning filming in gyms because of all the immature and online bullies. There are very few circumstances where your workout (ostensibly the whole fucking purpose of going to the gym) will be enhanced by filming yourself.
