What you are describing is child abuse. That’s not something that’s normal or appropriate. This post is worded like it is though and very weird. the Austin Dillon Richard Childress Racing Nascar Draft T-Shirt in contrast I will get this scenario you have made isnt common. youve used lots of exaggeration in your post that undermines your point. kids have short attention spans and an undeveloped palate. they need encouraging or wont get through a meal. they will just beg for food in 10 mins time. My kids can say they are full after not eating much of anything, eat a big dessert, and then say they are hungry an hour later when they are getting ready for bed. I gave each of my kids an out with food. One of them hates boxes Mac and cheese. Something about powered cheese really disagrees with him. And my other two picked mushrooms. I never forced them to eat those foods but I did encourage them to try them again from time to time to see if their tastes have changed. Mindful eating can be taught early. Helping a child understand the difference between “sometimes food” and “always food” can help them make healthy choices. Helping them hear their natural satiety cues helps raise a child to be a healthy human. I think the idea is they will definitely want to eat later and be hounding for food at an inconvenient time or for treats. So you force them to eat at your convenience because you’re a busy parents and when you take the time to make dinner you wanna make sure they eat it because otherwise you can’t cross dinner off your list. Should never take it to the point of abuse obviously but kids don’t know how to take care of themselves and some parents just take that responsibility to the point of abuse.

It’s a low income mentality of, “Don’t waste food” or “Getting the Austin Dillon Richard Childress Racing Nascar Draft T-Shirt in contrast I will get this best value”. In America at least, people often buy food based on the most food for the money, which results in overly large portions. In their minds, to not waste “money” by dumping or throwing out the excess food, they force their kids to eat everything they are served. Having a lot of food was also a sign of wealth in various countries, so it’s a weird juxtaposition of being too cheap to “waste” food, but wanting to flaunt being “rich” enough to afford more than you need. Unless your child has a nutritional deficit or failure to thrive no child should b forced to eat. They should b taught to listen to their body cues. Eat when hungry stop when full. That is it. Have healthy food available, at least one thing you know they like. Forcing someone (anyone) to eat when they don’t want to is disturbing. Some kids have texture or flavor issues. If u don’t want to create an issue around food don’t make food an issue. To avoid waste ask them first how much they would like and educate on cost and why we don’t waste food. Gotta keep that american plus size trend going! Finish your big Mac jimmy I don’t care if you’re 4 years old and the burger is the size of your head!
