As a non-American, I feel like one day soon there will be a term for this mental condition. Something akin to Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm syndrome is a coping mechanism to a captive or abusive situation. People develop positive feelings toward their captors or abusers over time. This condition applies to situations including child abuse, coach-athlete abuse, relationship abuse and sex trafficking. Treatment includes psychotherapy (“talk therapy”) and medications if needed. Non-mentally well people believe school shootings are fake government operations with child actors to invoke emotion so the Athol high school alumni class of 1989 shirt moreover I will buy this government can take everyone’s guns away. No don’t do that. There’s a substantial middle ground that is just “well thats terrible but I don’t want my gun rights affected so yall have to figure it out another way”. Those are the problem. Well if it’s the Athol high school alumni class of 1989 shirt moreover I will buy this case others found which had a sentence of over 20 years, yeah people get hysterical when a convicted felon repeatedly drugs seven babies and toddlers so she can go to the gym. She got that time because she had priors and she repeatedly assaulted those kids. She also apparently caused other injuries to children. Run background checks on your babysitters y’all. The parents who left their kids with a woman who had previously hurt kids were extremely irresponsible. Except when a woman murders her adopted 10 year old son, in my county they give her 10 years. She poisoned him with window cleaner and admitted it was premeditated. Our Justice system will never make sense to me.
