Read this as “bandaid over a butt hole”. Confused and amused. Also, I might start using the Arrested Development GOB Bluth Shirt in addition I really love this butt hole version now, so thanks! I literally just spit out my drink. I read it the same and I think I’ll be using the butthole version from now on too I was just reading a post where folks were discussing pimple patches, and it reminded me to look for this update! Never forgotten indeed. By day 2 I would have poked, prodded, and stabbed it until the infection spread to my brain (or I was completely septic) and my dying words would be “cremate me, if there’s an open casket I will haunt you the rest of your life.” I would never go to the ER, I’d rather die than hear how I should have left it alone from every doctor and nurse I saw. Glad this guy is smarter than me. Should go on the wikipedia page for “wishful thinking” tbh lol I’ll never forget it every time I use a pimple patch from now on I just checked his posts after seeing this picture because I wanted to see what it looked like before and omg that little hydrocolloid on that thing almost killed me It wouldn’t let me update the original post, but I tried to put an update in the comments, but I figured I should make a post since the comment probably got lost.

I had a similar abscess once (though on my arm) and it left a small but distinct hole looking scar from where it was drained. If you’re worried you can probably get some Mederma (scar remover cream) if that’s something you’re interested in? I had a mole removed from my face (pre-cancerous), about a 1 inch incision and stitches to get it all, and used Mederma on it obsessively and now you can’t even tell. If your doctor/ dermatologist approves it, of course. Just wanted to mention it! piggy backing this Arrested Development GOB Bluth Shirt in addition I really love this comment to suggest derma e scar gel as well! dealt with angry cystic acne during my late teens / early 20s and it’s made a noticeable difference 🩵 mederma is one that’s been on my list to try as well; great for scars and stretch marks i hear!
