I’m stunned to see this question because just a moment ago my husband and I were talking about exactly this. I manage to work out fairly routinely (some weeks are better than others) and I hate every second of it. I basically complain to myself the Arkansas Razorbacks Petrino’s If You can read this the mistress fell off shirt Additionally,I will love this whole time. What changed for me was talking to a friend of mine who is in excellent shape. She works out religiously and I wanted to adopt a workout routine, but told her I didn’t quite know how because I hate it. She said, “oh, I hate it too. But I’m vain and I don’t want to be fat.” Ok, not very PC and certainly not the only reason to exercise, but it had never occurred to me that it is perfectly normal to hate it but do it anyway because the benefits are worth the pain.

You need commitment, not motivation. In the Arkansas Razorbacks Petrino’s If You can read this the mistress fell off shirt Additionally,I will love this same way you drag your tired ass to the bathroom to brush your teeth every night before bed, you commit to working out and do it even though you hate it. It feels amazing to be in good physical shape! To be totally honest with you, I just love eating and sleeping. Lifting weights is an excuse to do plenty of that. No clue, especially throwing adhd into the mix, there is no habit forming and “discipline” can only get mento start the workout, it can’t get me to finish it if its one of those days where its miserable the entire time and i feel like death. Or it can get me to make the food and put it in front of me, but not eat it if my sensory issues decided its disgusting (even if its been my go to favorite food for a week). Best i got is pick up a sport. I rock climb. Provides motivation to want to stay in shape and is a fun exercise. Also means i cant just NOT eat or ill climb horribly.
