I don’t watch either because they’re terrible. I prefer other sources for news. I’ll tune into ABC or CBS for breaking news, otherwise I watch local news and go to Reuters for other things. It’s what CNN and FOX do to America it’s just we are taught from birth that it’s okay. It’s obviously not but the Arizona wildcats blue 84 2022 pac12 men’s basketball conference tournament champions shirt What’s more,I will buy this average American doesn’t care, and the loud minority support what they do because the news tells them to I find CNN endlessly confusing. Their hosts all seem to be pretty left leaning (as far as I can tell) but their ads are straight up right wing propaganda. CNN is like Fox for democrats. Both are terribly sensationalistic and take things out of contest. Best to stick with AP or Reuters. I think this is true of all the 24/7 news channels. Some are worse and more factually incorrect, but they all report on things like it’s a sporting event and endlessly speculate on things. Everything is breaking news, everything is a huge deal, or an outrage, or a scandal. It’s madness. We don’t need 24 hour news because that means they’re trying to make everything newsworthy so they have something to report on. It is often relayed as outrageously as possible to rile people up so they keep watching. I think it’s one of the reasons why we’re where we are. CNN lied and spread misinformation every day of Desert Shield and Desert Storm…and they never stopped after that either . Networks know they’re in the last generation of the television era and some seem to be going full force with destroying any and all credibility built over the last few decades. Once millenials take over television is going to be done with, CNN and FOX will rebrand as 3 or 4 different news outlets and start doing the same disinformation bullshit on the web.

My father is addicted to FOX, but ashamed of it as well. If I walk into the Arizona wildcats blue 84 2022 pac12 men’s basketball conference tournament champions shirt What’s more,I will buy this room when I’m at his house he’ll pause the television and just look at me anxiously waiting for me to walk out so he can keep watching Tucker Carlson. If he leaves it on I keep quiet, but if he brings up anything I generally have talking points about it that aren’t just nodding my head in agreement and he gets genuinely mad about me having opinions on the subject that aren’t talking points from guys like Tucker Carlson and Bill O’Reilly. (A good example is he thought Critical Race Theory was a Black Lives Matter movement to make white people feel bad about themselves, I don’t agree with everything I know of CRT but it is definitely not that. When I told him it’s about looking at how foundational laws in the United States are not granting equality regardless of race he called me a liberal and started screaming at me.)
